Obagi Nu-Derm Tolerean
Description:
Obagi Nu-Derm Tolereen can be used as needed, alone or with a moisturizer to increase comfort for any patient having severe anticipated reactions to the treatment.Obagi Nu-Derm Tolereen, containing 0.5% hydrocortisone in a special moisturizing base, is formulated to help suppress irritation, sensitivity, and itching. This hydrocortisone cream provides temporary relief of itching, inflammation and rashes associated with minor skin irritations due to external factors.
Note: Obagi Tretinoin, Obagi Nu-Drm Exfoderm Forte, or Obagi Nu-Derm Exfoderm can be discontinued for one (1) or two (2) days and Tolereen applied until reactions stop and the patient feels more comfortable. This break in treatment can be repeated when needed until a natural tolerance is achieved. Tolereen can also be used occasionally without discontinuing Obagi Tretinoin or the Obagi Nu-Derm Exfoderm preparations to increase comfort. However, control agents should only be used temporarily, as they slow down the skin restoration process.
Directions:
Apply this hydrocortisone lotion whenever needed in the areas where you experience itching, burning or redness
